OWNER / DESIGNER - BELLE LUEUR BRIDAL | TUNA & BEAR

JENNY SPEDDING

My love for fashion and design stems from when I was a little girl and my mum taught me sew. When I got married in 2019 I absolutely fell in love with weddings - which is where my first business was born, Tuna & Bear.

From here, I then graduated into bridal fashion - my first true love! In 2021 I had a career break to have my little boy and this is when Belle Lueur Bridal was was born!

I love attending bridal fashion weeks and catwalk shows in London, Barcelona and New York. I really do come away with such a buzz and itch to design!

Working with brides to design their unique wedding look really is a dream come true.

GRAPHIC DESIGNER / SHOP ASSISTANT - BELLE LUEUR BRIDAL

BECKI

I graduated from university in 2017 with degree in illustration and graphic design and have always had a keen interest in the fashion world.

I've worked for Belle Lueur Bridal since 2023 and it's been such an amazing opportunity to learn about the wedding industry - as well as developing my own creative skills and turning my hand to something completely different. I love being part of a small team of like minded women who are really passionate about what they do!

MANAGER / SEAMSTRESS - TUNA & BEAR

LAURA

I grew up on a small family farm in the beautiful North York Moors national park, so of course I have a huge love for the great outdoors and animals.

I moved to Cumbria in 2014 when I met my now husband. Being the outdoorsy type I got fed up with replacing ripped clothes, so I bought an old sewing machine and learned how to fix them instead.

I joined Jenny in 2021 after having my second little boy, and I've been part of Tuna & Bear ever since. I now manage the day to day running of Tuna & Bear, sewing every dog tuxedo in our Ulverston workshop.
